SAMPLE TEXT:

If you're like me, you have grown tired of our nation's current state of division and polarization and desire to turn your focus away from polarizing politics and towards the unifying presence of Christ.

Well, here is one opportunity.

I just signed up for a national event happening this October, sponsored by Ideos Institute and a host of other Christian leaders and organizations. It's called the 31 Days of Unity Campaign.

In the final days before the November elections, the 31 Days of Unity Campaign is giving us the opportunity to join thousands of other Christians for 31 days of prayer centered around the healing of communities and congregations across the U.S. More specifically, it is inviting us to join together for a time of reflection on how we each can be a catalyst for healing our divides - starting with the divides in the Church today.

By signing up for this month-long campaign, you will receive daily texts — each with a prayer for unity, scripture reference, and link to a short video reflection.

I believe this campaign will be a time of connection and discernment between and among a community of believers called to help steward this movement and this moment. I hope you will consider subscribing.

You can learn more about the 31 Days of Unity Campaign and how you can register at www.reunionproject.us.

And if you decide to join the campaign, I hope you'll share it with your friends and family, too.
